Feliway - would it help?

Hi,

Since I got pregnant my cat has got a bit stressed. I went into hospital to be induced & he started ripping a hole in the stair carpet.

Ds is 12 weeks old now & cat is ripping at his carpet hole when he cries. In the last week he's started ripping chunks of wallpaper off the stairs too.

I'm trying to think of ways to help my cat. Just wondered if anyone had used Feliway in similar circumstances or had any other tips?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi, after I had my ds my cat got stressed, but her reaction was to wee on the floor constantly :( we tried feliway on the vets advice but that didn't work so the vet upped her to zylkene which is proper hardcore antidepresants and which work a treat! I'd try feliway but if that doesn't work ask your vet if you could try something stronger, its stressful for you too having to deal with it!

Cheers valiumpoptarts I didn't know you could get antidepressants for cats. Hopefully we won't have to come to that. Will try some Feliway. Thanks for the tips :)
