How much do you feed your kitten and how often?

I have male kitten who is around 7 months old (got him from cat's protection and they were a bit unsure of his age)

He never seems to be full or satisfied, I am feeding him the way that was recommended by my vet, but just wondered how this compared to others.

He has 1 and a half - 2 pouches of kitten food a day, split into 3 meals (in when I get up, one when I get in around 3ish and one before I go to bed) around 7 he also gets a small bowl of Iams and has a bowl of dried food and water available all day. So 4 meals all in.

As soon as any food is put down to him he finishes it in seconds, he constantly tries to steal food, and will eat anything...raw onions, toilet roll, strands of spaghetti like a scene from lady and the tramp, sweet corn....everything except bananas...he runs away from them Grin

He's healthy and putting on weight, but seems starving all the time, I think he would just eat all day if food was available, so I was just wondering if this was the norm?

We have a male kitten approx 3 months old and he has 1/2 a pouch in the morning and another 1/2 a pouch in the evening and a handful of dry food at lunchtime.
He also get other tidbits during the day (grated cheese, sliced meat, cat milk) as he appears from nowhere at lightening speed when he hears the fridge door open.
I would say it is normal for kittens, we tend to feed little and often as he really bolts his food and would try to eat any amount given to him.

I'd put it down to personality, OP.
We have 2 large males, 5.5 months old.
Fed 1-2 sachets in the morning, and a medium layer spread over a teacup saucer of dried food twice later in the day. I think that's equivalent of 3-4 sachets a day, plus they scavenge a small bit (licking butter off plates). That's for 2 cats, so I would think 1-2 sachets daily for a single kitten about the same age.

One of ours is a greedy Guts & constantly pesters for more, his sibling eats a lot less & ignores us while we have chicken pie & all sorts.
