As soon as Dh goes to the loo the cat is outside the door wanting to come in. She will then sit on the bath demanding a fuss, and if she gets a chance will try and sit on Dh's lap.
We often find her sitting on the loo seat. Last night she was balancing on the edge with head and front paws in the toilet.

Yep mine toilet and bath obsessed. Lets himself into toilet then can't get out and yowls in the middle of the night to be let out Angry

MessNessPess · 10/02/2012 00:26

1 of ours watches DH use the loo, he stands tall with front paws on the seat and head in the bowl and getting perilously close to a impromptu wash, our sadly departed other cat used to waft his tail as he walked between DH and the loo with predictable results....cats tail needed washing.

my cat belle is obsessed with the bathroom sink. even as soon as my foot is on the bottom of the stairs she comes streaking past me to rush up the stairs climb onto the toilet and lean across to the sink. sometimes i let the tap drip and then she'll get in to try and catch the drips.

her sister tinker is obsessed by the kitchen sink, i'll often go in and see her backside with her head leaning into the sink! she's not fussed about the bathroom sink. but she is obsessed with the toilet and insists on looking in the toilet after i have flushed it. she's even waited outside when i've had guests and i've had to shout up the stairs to tell them they have a visitor!!

Both our cats are obsessed with the toilet and bath, i now find both of them paws on toilet heads down there Shock there so odd as they always have water downstairs so dont know why they do it. When we are in the bath they sit on the side watching Grin they are very strange cats.

Mine yowls to come in the toilet with me , hes also obsessed with all sinks he has to sit on the kitchen windowsill to watch me wash up.

Cat1 (sadly now departed for the great celestial litter tray) loved drinking out of the toilet. She used to have head in the pan, front paws balanced on the bowl and bum and tail sticking up.
Used to make a mess of the toilet but I still miss her.

My cat loves drinking out of the bathroom sink tap!! He will wait very patiently for me to move and then yowl and go trotting to the bathroom with his ears back listening to check that I am following him! He used to wake me up for this at 6am every day or so, but we had a talk about that, involving me locking him in the hall with no water dripping, so he learnt not to, but he sits patiently and waits for me. When I am on the loo the sight of his bum and tail right in front of me is so funny, and his little legs slightly off key as he balances. I get lits of lovings and kissings for facilitating this pleasure. He loves it, along with licking me every morning and climbing into my arms for a cuddle like a baby. :) In fact where is he???

whomovedmychocolate · 17/02/2012 08:12

Ah - you need the www.litterkwitter.com

But seriously my cat uses the sink for a wee Hmm

Or the loo if the sink is not clean enough Hmm

slowestwildebeast · 18/02/2012 05:06

My cat appears to have an obsession with the bath as well, and she jumps in after we've had a bath or shower and plods about - normally with muddy feet. She'll do this with all the upstairs sinks. It's actually really annoying because mud is smeared everywhere.
Cats are quite unusual :)

Smurfy1 · 18/02/2012 05:13

We have to keep the seat down due the mad bengal trying to swim in it LOL

Our other cat likes to sit to the seat while your in the bath and paws the cistern when you flush it very cute

Whorulestheroost · 18/02/2012 11:49

Yes!! My 2 are, I often find their paw prints down the loo. They also go into the shower cubicle and drink the water, I try and keep the bathroom door closed!

whomovedmychocolate · 18/02/2012 12:34

smurfy - mine is a bengal too - mad buggers aren't they? Hmm Grin

sashh · 19/02/2012 07:03

I had one who taught herself to use the toilet - much easier to deal with than a litter tray. although she never managed the flush.

JustRedbin · 22/02/2012 22:11

Got a Bengal which is obsessed with the loo and all running water. We also have a Siamese that likes drinking from the loo.

crazynanna · 22/02/2012 22:17

Crazykitten waits on the ledge just behind the loo and sits and looks at my fat arse whilst I am peeing Hmm,then jumps down and stands up leaning in when it's flushed.

She looks down, then looks up at me as if to say "Did you just see that??!!"

Makes me laugh every time Grin

monstermissy · 22/02/2012 22:18

Very glad to read this thread, my new kitten (hes 8mths) loves the sink and toilet, he sleeps in the bathroom every night. Sits on the edge of the bath while your in it. Sits on the toilet seat and is always next to me on the side whilst i wash up. I have always had cats but never one so obsessed. He gets sad if he cant get into the bathroom. Not very happy about his love of peeing in the sink and def try to discourage this. Have never known a cat to do this - weirdo.

cosysocks · 22/02/2012 22:21

I thought I was the only one with an odd cat. As soon as my female cat hears I'm going to the toilet she is straight in. Jumps on my lap too when I'm there!

Beamur · 22/02/2012 22:21

This thread has reminded me of my dear departed puss. She used to wail at the door if shut out, would always want to sit on your lap if you were on the toilet and used to gaze lovingly at me while I was in the bath! Occasionally she would jump up and walk around the edge of the bath (most worrying) and then try and lick me, usually a shoulder if she could reach...weird sensation of rough cat tongue! She liked wet skin.

CMOTDibbler · 22/02/2012 22:21

1 out of 3 of ours is - alas she also yowls for any visitors to Let Her In too.

My first cat liked to drink out of the loo, and would sleep on my chest in the bath

crazynanna · 22/02/2012 22:23

It's weird isn't it because I always thought cats' hated water Confused
