Cat lost in the snow

ExH put the cat out yesterday morning (I was away), didn't feed her, I tried calling her around 5pm when I got back but no response, now its been snowing all night and she hasn't eaten since Friday night.

I'm so worried about her, am I being thick or should I be genuinely concerned?

Cats often go missing for a few days , maybe someones taken her in ,could you knock on a few neighbours doors to see if any one has seen her?

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/02/2012 21:51

My cat loves the snow perhaps she has found a mouse hole to stake out?

If she isnt back phone the council to see if any have been found (grim), then ring local rescue centres and all the local vets. Put some flyers out, according to research I saw cats will go about a mile from home but sometimes get a bit lost after that.

Is she chipped?

Thanks everyone, she's back, looking really thin and wary. I've put her upstairs with her food away from two excited toddlers GrinGrinGrin

Phew! well if shes thin you know she hasnt been interviewing new owners.

Happydogsaddog · 06/02/2012 19:08

Absolutely agree maybe I just went out for a cigarette and she went out, my heart was in my mouth the whole time - scared she was gonna vanish again but now she's inside again phew! She's rubbing everything, getting comfortable again Grin

I think you will be a bit wary for a while if she doesn't come back straight away. Smile
