Update: Kitten with broken pelvis

Hello,

If any of you remember, I posted her back in November, hysterical as a cupboard door had fallen on my 4 month old kitten.

Long story short, he had a broken pelvis Sad

Lots of very supportive comments here, lots of advice and it really helped I have to say!

So, just to let those of you that remember know, he is now absolutely fine!

Fully healed, mental as ever and busy sitting in the kitchen or bathroom sink (why does he do this??) or sitting in the garden watching the rain fall??? (any ideas??) Basically, he's a big, soft, dribbly, loon with a penchant for any food that isn't designed for cats (popcorn, DD's Kitkat, dog food, worms, cabbage)

He seems none-the-wiser, has a slight imbalance when negotiating the fence, but is otherwise fine!

Thank you to all who contributed to my thread and put my mind at rest.

Grin

Fab news- glad he's well on the way to normal for a cat!Wink

yes - what is 'normal' for a cat??

I have what I consider to be a 'normal' cat - she pretty much ignores my existence unless she is a)hungry or b)it's 4am and she fancies a bit of a cuddle Angry

Kitten is just an utter lunatic. Cat was never like this - she has always been so placid (apart from her epic play fights with the dog!)

His first 'kill' was a piece of cabbage 'caught' from the bin Hmm His second, a worm, his third - an actual mouse (yay, a 'mouser' I thought!), his fourth - some bread??? He growls and hunches over his prey and it's hilarious, bless him!

Suppose it's better than Cat - she brings half dead moths/birds to me..yuk! They flutter and flap and make me scream (and cry...if it's a poor bird!)

Sorry, it's late and I'm rambling. Must go to bed (but don't want to!)
