Any advice appreciated before I go totally barmy :( our cat is about 11yo and has recently had bad cystisis, was on two loads of antibiotics but the vet basically thinks it is stress induced as ds is rather keen on crawling after her. The cystisis meant she wee'd on the floor a lot so we closed her in the kitchen (this was end of Nov) I think, hope, its cleared up now but she is now doing all her wees indoors. How do I stop her?!? Or am I damned to spending the rest of my life trying to keep ds from licking up cat pee??

Oh, and we've put her on feliway for the stress...

Get her a litter box?

I have resorted to the litter tray and feliway (our cat is being bullied by next doors). Hopefully come spring we can encourage her back out again. I would rather deal with a litter tray than random wees on soft furnishings.

If the weeing is in specific places get the special cleaner from the vets which neuturalises the ammonia, you can get it online as well. Put small bowls of food in her most popular marking spots, cats are clean animals and won't go to the toilet where they eat. Also if you haven't already, get a litter tray, and once she is confident using it, begin to move it closer to the outside, eventually putting it out. Move it onto the soil when she is used to that and hopefully she will get the message. It's a nightmare when they do this you have my full sympathy!
