Two year old cat bleeding from anus

My cat is bleeding from his anus.

I found him upstairs ,back legs covered in blood at 7pm. he had also vomited and then again later this evening.

He is lieing down after not moving around much today. Looks very unhappy but is responsive to stroking him taking him to vets at 8.30am.

I'm very worried and it is puzzling as he seemed fine this morning.

Any ideas what it could be?

:(

Hi Fluffycloundland77

My cat has a bladder infection. He has had a shot of antibiotics and He has been prescribed a 6 day course of tablets, two per day.

I hope he gets well soon :(

Vet explained, stress is the cause. I have no idea what may have caused His stress as our house is a very quiet domain.

Could he go out? Being in stresses our Bengal, we've let Persians, chinchillas and the Bengal out and their ok.

Obv if you live in a flat on a main road next to a dog fighting neighbour then it's not suitable.

Have you tried a plug in feliway? The spray on version kept the Bengal off the Christmas tree this year.

I'm glad he's ok though it's so frightening when their ill, the antibiotics work well in cats and they soon bounce back.
