Another Frontline problem...... it's not working!!

I've always used frontline on previous cats (and dog!), but it's just not working on my cat. She's 1yr old and was treated two weeks ago, and is still flaming scratching! Plus I've found a couple of fleas on the sofa.......

So, do I try a different flea treatment and if so what do you recommend? Also, what can I use to treat the house bearing in mind I'm 36wks preg??

Thank you.

Ok so Advocate it is ...thanks everyone.

My kitten is only 3 months old...is it ok to use? And would I have to buy something for her cat bed and my bed (where she lies) or will they just jump on her and die with the Advocate? TIA

Frontline is pants and no longer works on fleas The main ingredient Fipronyl is in several over the internet products which does not require expensive Vet say so, so you get duped into buying it. It is rubbish and so you get a worthless product which fails to do what it what it says. The manufacturer strenuosly deny this blaming everybody , the owner, the wrong dose, not applied properly etc etc . IT DOES NOT WORK

Why have you resurrected an ancient thread?

MrsMarigold · 19/08/2014 20:57

Arghhh just took my cat today to the vet mortified she has fleas - I'd also Frontlined her but useless and she has been sleeping on my two year old's bed, do you think DD will be ok - she has a lovely down duvet and I'm reluctant to chuck it do you think I could tumble dry it?

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/08/2014 21:03

What do the washing instructions say?

MrsMarigold · 19/08/2014 21:16

Washing instructions? There are none.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/08/2014 21:20

You can try it on a delicate cycle with non bio but if you treat the house and the cat I don't see the sense in risking it.

MrsMarigold · 19/08/2014 21:23

Done the cat - will do the house on Thursday when the DC are out - fingers crossed.

MrsMarigold · 19/08/2014 21:24

She is now sitting on the oven gloves - luckily I'm the only one to see it.
