Best wormer!

What is please? Just got two 8 month old cats from our local rescue, and whats the best flea stuff and how often do you use it? A neighbour does her cat every month, seems excessive to me and very expensive. Thanks.

I'm a vet and my choices for my own very precious cats are October to April monthly Advocate to do my fleas and roundworms (fleas are actually worse in the winter due to central heating), Frontline May to September for fleas and ticks. Twice a year I bravely thrust a milbemax tablet down their throats to do tape worms - one of these in July and one in Feb. I can not bear the thought of fleas in my house on any level.

Its fleas I cannot stand, thank you for your advice:)
