Why won t the cat use the sodding cat flap

Neutered tom has taken agin the cat flap,he just mews to be let in and out at stupid o clock at night and morning.Its worse than when my twins were babies.Its the same flap he s always used.Help please

Has it got stuck at all lately? My friends little boy had been playing around ours and we didn't see that he'd flicked the catch up (it's one you can adjust so it only lets the out and not in or vice versa) and the cat came running at it (as usual) and banged his bonce on it. He was well huffy about using it for ages (poor thing).

Girl cat just meows and sits at the door when she wants you to prove you love her by opening the door for her
