Do I get insurance or vaccinations first???

I have just got 3 new cats, 11 month old brothers (gorgeous!!), and I don't know whether to set up their insurance first, or get their jabs done first (they haven't been vaccinated yet so it will be the full course). Any advice?

Just a bit confused, as if I set up their insurance first, will I need to say 'no' to vaccination and then change it later? or say 'yes' as they will be done as soon as I can get an appointment with the vet. Am having a dizzy moment (brought on by 3 young cats rampaging around the house like whirlwinds).

Get the vaccinations first,I think.

I agree. I will be setting up the insurance for my two boys later on. They were vaccinated when they came to us and they were castrated on Tuesday.
DD wants me to get the insurance from the meercat people, don't know the name of them and the only reason is so she can get a toy Hmm

Thank you for your advice - will get an appointment with the vet asap.

The meercat people are 'comparethemarket.com' - check out the pet insurance section on moneysavingexpert.com for the full list of comparison sites and some good advice. I spent an hour or so yesterday going through them, and I think I will be going with Direct Line, I found their policy handy as you can take off the bits you don't need - for us, overseas travel cover and things like payment for death of animal, hospital cover for us, holiday cancellation fees etc.
