What's the most comprehensive cat insurance?

My cat is 2, we live in a little village but the next door neighbour drives like a cunt.

What's the best insurance for him? I dont want one that wont fund expensive work like orthapaedic (sp?) re-construction or long term problems like thyroid or kidney problems.

I'm going to complain to the council about the neighbour and the PCSO. Parish council has no teeth, so to speak.

When we were discussing it with our vet she recommended PetPlan and Marks and Spencers - looking at it from a vet's point of view and willingness to pay out for various illnesses and accidents.

We haven't actually got our two cats insured so can't comment from an owner's point of view.

If you are looking for insurance that will pay the most without slapping conditions on everything, then you can't do better than Pet Plan. They are expensive but worth it if you need them.

another vote for the mighty PetPlan here - my cat has really bad teeth and petplan are one of the few insurers who cover dental with no questions as they acknowledge the knock on effect of bad feline dental health (it can affect heart function as well as pongy cat breath). And they paid out straight away when he had hepatitis (yes my cat's been through the mill a bit..)

Petplan here as well. More expensive (as the poster above says) but good.

Only drawback is that you need a complete vet history to make your first claim, difficult when this dates back to 1996 and covers three different vets!!
