Have been looking after cat who just turned up at our door. Checked it's rear carefully and announced a girl. Brought it to vet to vaccinate and see re. spaying. Male vet last week felt along tummy and said probably not spayed. Got 1st vacc. Went back today for 2nd vacc. to female vet and she said you couldn't really tell from feeling for scar and checked cat's rear. Said it was a neutered male. I'm in shock as 'she' was my 'girl'. Can't think of him as a bloke. Don't trust my eyes now! On the bright side don't need to pay for spaying.
