Tuna....?

Is it ok to give cats tinned tuna?

My cat loves tuna but I'm sure I heard somewhere that it isn't good for them so I have been rationing him.

He is a fussy little thing really, he doesn't like wet cat food so I give him biscuits and cook him white fish and tuna. It would be a shame if he couldn't have it but I don't want him to have anything that is harmful to him.

Make sure it is the tuna in spring water and personally I would keep it as a treat.

Thanks, I will keep it as a treat.

oooo.. I remember this one...

If I remember correctly too much tuna in a cats diet can result in a vitamin E deficiency. I am pretty sure you shouldn't give it more than once a week and even then only half a tin.
