Cat has had kittens - any advice please

Hi, my gorgeous Katie cat had 5 kittens last night. She had spent all evening in her kittening box but moved under my bed and gave birth there. All 5 babies seem to be feeding and mum looks content.

Should I move them, or just let her get on with it? Its very dark under there and quite cramped so it's hard to keep a close eye on them all.
Any advice?

Just let her get on with it, but keep a close eye on things. And for the love of god get her spayed once the kittens have weaned. Contact a rescue for help with homing the kittens, so that they also will be spayed before being rehomed. The last thing animal rescue need is more unwanted cats multiplying.

The rescue would appreciate a large donation.

Thanks for your advice. She will be spayed as soon they are weaned. I have kept cats for the past 15 years and have always ensured they were spayed, unfortunatly she got "caught" during our house move before I had got her done.

We have taken a few pregnant ferels and always just left them to it, only intervening if a kitten was clearly injured or being left unfed. If she is feeding them all just keep an eye on them. If you move her, she will only move back to where she is comfiest anyway.

Will do, and thanks very much again for your help.
