FabCat is a traitor. FabBoy was put on the step for kicking his brother and FabCat rubbed up all against him and demanded he stroke her.. She clearly hasn't got the concept of the time out step yet .

When feeding her she was up on her back legs trying to get it sooner and fell . She has been walking normally since so I hope she is okay.

Some of you will know that FabCat's kidneys are failing and she is on medication for it plus 2 other tablets for other problems she has along with special food. Her results are good and the vet is happy with her. He knows I am potty about her and get her every treatment and medication she needs. I phone when there is a problem and take her in. I mentioned about her blood tests and her many vet visits and food and asked if we were at that point yet. He said no. I believed him. Someone has said how vet's are money grabbing and now I am doubting myself. While she still suns herself in the garden, rubs up for strokes, bites me and has the odd play with her toy (less it has to be said) then surely she has quality of life?

My cat had kidney failure and then lived for about another 5 years! She was feral thou so no one could get near her to actually check her kidneys.
Your cat sounds happy and content, she would not be acting like that if she was in pain and had had enough.

The vet said it isn't an illness that would cause her pain so maybe it is harder to know.

My 15 year old boycat has been on Fortekor for kidney faliure for 4.5 years. The way he carries on, you'd think he was a kitten and he's certainly not at imminent death!
