I need a hug

My cat's kidneys are starting to fail. She is on meds and special food. I have to take her to the vet soon as she has refused her food for 2 days. I came home today and she looked like she was dying when she was sleeping on the sofa and my MIL looked like she staggered to the side the other day.

This has to be one of the worst days of my life. My daughter is ill, my son is being bulled, I am not well and now this.

I've just come back from the vet myself with our elderly cat - I'm afraid that the prognosis is not good.

I am now £105 poorer but she is home.

My cat is back doing her guard cat duty outside the Dcs bedrooms .

Delighted to hear the guard cat is back on the prowl!

Not so great news this morning. She walked straight past DH and hasn't asked for breakfast . She is in the garden in the sun. This cat loves to eat normally and often trips me up in her haste to shout for her tea.

I have given her her 3 tablets she needs, she sounded like she was drinking her food but she has walked off and not eaten much.
