So all winter beautiful moggy girl and arrogant posh boy have snoozed on sofas and beds for 23 hours a day. Today the sun is shining and the sky is clear. After breakfast they rushed to the garden and have been out there ever since. I guess that's it now we will barely see them till autumn.

18 month old Jemima has been leaping around the garden like a box of frogs since last Friday.

She is our Mad March Moggy.

She currently has her sights set on an extremely arrogant wood pigeon who is at least 3 times longer than her and probably 4 times her body weight. He is also perched at the top of an extremely tall tree, but that won't stop her watching.... and waiting ..... and watching ...... and waiting ......

Nope. Back door wide open, lazy cat curled up on chair fast asleep...

ours keeps getting confused by how light it is so early. He disappears outside, then can't figure out why he's hungry and sits outside the front door complaining (god forbid he should zip back round to the back door and his cat flap).

Secretly DH and I love it - he is not waking us up as we can't hear him out the front door! Grin

He has also started lying in the middle of the driveway, exposing his belly to the sun and all passers by!

From my comfy viewpoint on the sofa I can see both pussycats. The Snowshoe is on the Poang chair in Nose-Up-Bum attitude, asleep, and the Ginger Moron is guarding the windowsill, through closed eyes.

Ho hum...

Summer cat round here is the fat tabby over the road that comes in the house and nicks our cats' food when it's warm and we have the back door open (it's too fat/stupid/whatever to use their catflap in the cooler months). But our boys have been full of the joys of spring lately, hurling themselves at giant bees on the other side of the window, and eyeing the nesting starlings with great interest.
