Pet insurance for my cat?

Hello all moggy owners :). My male cat is coming up for one year old and I think it's time I got some insurance for him, just in case, especially as I'm about to start letting him out to explore the big (hopefully not bad!) world. Have any of you got pet insurance for your cat and would you recommend any specific insurers?

We got insurance and have already been grateful - he had to have a growth removed at a total cost of £500. We received compensation from the insurance company for about £420! Which was a huge relief.

We use Petplan which our vet tells us is good. It's worth asking your vet's advice as they often process claims so can tell you which ones are more likely to process quickly and without complaint. Petplan was a bit more expensive though - we pay £13 per month.

i have got pet plan. it's a bit more expensive but well worth it!

my mum has lots of animals and stories to go with them, and we have never had any trouble with them.

If you don't go with pet plan them please make sure you read there policy. some of them don't cover for reoccurring illness. so if your pet gets diabetes them you will have to pay for everything after the first visit.
