My DS (age 5) is desperate for a pet and would love a cat as much as I would. I used to have four cats but they went with the ex dp before DS was born.
I feel terrible as my four cats were my babies, and then the minute I found out I was pregnant, I just went off them completely and phoned up my ex to take them 
. I just couldn't have them around.
The reason I can't have one now, is mainly because I live in rented accommadation. Even if I ask the landlord if she would re consider her no pets policy, the main problem is not having a cat flap. I doubt she wants a chunk of door removed for a cat flap.
I don't quite know what I'm asking here, just that I feel so sad because I REALLY REALLY want a cat!!. It would make DS so happy and would be great company for him as he has no siblings and it's just me & him at home. He is SO gentle and caring with cats, and finds them so entertaining, I think it would enrich his life enormously.
I want a cat!
