Um, my cat likes nipples!!

Sounds completely bizarre, but true.

My 10 month old girl cat, since she was 12 weeks old, has had an obsession with nipples. If you aren't paying attention, she is down your top before you know it, and will try and latch onto your nipples. And she isn't discerning about who's nipples she goes for either!

She once tried to latch on to my boyfriends mole... she mistook it for a nipple

Anyone know other cats with the same crazy problem?! I've had loads of cats, and non have ever tried to breastfeed off me before!

Many years ago I got a kitten and I was rudely awakened one morning by her latched on to me nipple. She had sneaked under the duvet and was happily latched on [yuck]. Just to say she wasn't allowed in the bedroom after that.

Not nipples, but I had a girl cat who had a thing about DH's armpits. She liked to get right in there and suckle his shirt.

Phew, now I feel 'normal' too!!

Cats are plain weird. I've never met a sane one!

My DH's old cat used to suckle a nubbin he's got in his armpit. It was pretty cute really.

I thought this was just one of my cats! I got a shock once when she tried to breastfeed from me, basically (yeuch) so now whenever I'm in bed and she hoves into view it's quilt up to chin time.

One of ours likes to suckle zips - obviously a pitiful substitute for a nipple.

My smallest one tries to do this when I'm in bed. He's always been a padder (French accent: 'ere I am now, padding at your boobies. You know you like eet') but occasionally he'll try to move in for a suckle. Apparently he was quite late to wean and is a lot smaller than his brother. He is firmly discouraged when he tries it.
