How much do you feed your cat?

We have a 1 year old male who weighs in at 5kg and just wondering if we feed him too much or too little.

I have a 2 1/2 year old cat that weighs in at 6.76kg Blush I've swapped him over to light biscuits, limited his pouch intake and put a collar on him that has 'Do not feed' woven on in big letters.

With having two cats I let them have the light biscuits down all the time. The larger but not overweight cat gets an additional 3-4 pouches of whiskas/felix a day and the fatty gets 2. 3-4 pouches plus biscuits sounds like a lot but he's very large and powerful and outdooorsy, and like I say not overweight at all at 6 yo.

Do you feed biscuits or wet food?

I have just started on Fish4cats dry for my 2 8 month olds. They came from the RPSCA 4 weeks ago and weigh under 3 kgs. They only get 30g per day of Fish4cats as per manufacturers guidelines. It is a tiny amount but is 70% fish and costs around 16p per day to feed them each! Grin They are happy as am I!

I have 2, both 4 yo. Both very small framed. Ginger lad (see profile for pics) weighs in at just under 4kg. Black and white girlie is about 3.5kg.

Ginger lad - Mango - is waiting for his application to go through as a Pets As Therapy cat so is well-known at the vets. He is, apparently, in excellent health.

They get a scoop of dry each (IAMS anti-fur at the moment) morning and evening plus half a tin of wet between them each day. Also treats and titbits when we're cooking Blush

This is my first time cat owning, so I do worry about how much to feed, whether they get enough/too much etc. Mine are limited in their outdoor access, though, so I don't want them having too much.

Well we feed our little (?) man a pouch in the morning and one in the evening as well as dry food around lunch time. Some times he seems quite hungry and I'm not sure whether it is because he is hungry or because he is greedy...
