He barely ever comes home, he has always spent a lot of time next door but since one of the neighbours cats died he has pretty much moved in. she doesnt want hime there but wont just chuck him out and lock her cat flap. he is getting well fed but he desperatly needs grooming, he is a ragdoll and is starting to get a very matted coat.
He intimidates the neighbours cat, brings her lovely dead things and is generally a pita. I have just got in and noticed feathers everywhere and found a dead pigeon oin neighboursa door step which I have removed before she sees it.
I have tried everything I can thinkl off to tempt him home but he just prefers the peace and quiet next door.
any ideas as this isnt fair on neighbour.

Go and get him and shut him in for a while perhaps? I am on the other end of this as I have been adopted by a cat who lives in the property in fronrt of me in a first floor flat. He can get out, but not in there, the lady downstairs has a dog which he hates, his owner is frequently away and he has to sit on the step and hope she hears him when he cries to be let in.

In contrast here I am at home most days so he comes and goes as he wants, and has 4 beds to sleep on and no young children. I can't understand why his owner is happy for me to have him as he is lovely; had he been one of my three (all now dead) I would have moved heaven and earth to get him back. She just doesn't seem interested.
