Cattery in South London/Surrey

Does anyone use a good cattery that they can recommend in these areas? Never left our cat in a cattery before but can't keep imposing on friends! Happy to travel further if Mumsnet recommends

Not sure whereabouts you are exactly, but friends have used this place and been very happy: Farm Cottage cattery

I can recommend Oakley Hotel for Cats though admittedly the Disney theme is a bit nuts. Our grumpy cat has always been happy here, despite the indignity of the cartoon bedding etc! We do live nearer to Bromley than Croydon though so guessing this would not be as convenient for you.

When we don't use friends we use a cat sitter. It's cheaper and easier for us and the cats have always been happy. We've used two different ones (the second one recommended by the first when we moved) but we are South east London.

You can also see all registered pet sitters in your area at www.dogsit.com/ but you do have to pay a fee. Am sure if you google you'll come up with some local alternatives for free. Our cat sitters did a visit and based on that we were happy to use them. Just a thought anyway!
