Should we get him a kitten?

Our rescue Maine Coon has taken to "rescuing" all of the DDs' small teddies and soft toys. He takes them to his bed, gives them a good wash and then cuddles them and goes to sleep (it is so sweet to see!). His favourite is a toy horse which is looking decidedly the worse for being vigorously washed and cuddled. Do you think he would like a real live kitten to wash and cuddle?

If you yourself want a kitten then yes, my mum got our Dog, a kitten to love and they were best friends for all of the dogs life

All subsequent kittens were also raised by the dog and first cat, but be careful.. We ended up with five cats in the end! It was all very Waltons!
