Our kitten has bleeding gums

He is only 8 weeks old and we got him a week ago. We've noticed his gums bleed a little and the bit of 'lip' in between the nose and mouth also bleeds slightly and seems to get strings of skin coming away. At first we thought it was teething but I honestly think it's a bit more than that.

And today there was a little blood in his poo (but possibly from blood being swallowed?).

Sad

Other than the above he seems absolutely fine, in fact the mouth area isn't even bothering him.

I'm taking him to the vet as soon as the public holiday's are overwith. He's due anyway to start his innoculations.

In the meantime I was wondering if anyone has experience/has seen something like this before?

THANKS! meid Smile
