So unfair - cat prefers DP

And he is soooo smug about it Xmas Hmm he was at home all day Wednesday and when I got in he was telling me how youngest cat had been cuddled up to him all afternoon, purring etc.

So today I'm at home and the cat came in, I fed it, then it wandered up to the sofa, looked at me (as I said come here dcat etc) and then turned around and walked off. It was like it had judged me and found me lacking.

Can I get some kind of therapy for the cat to make it prefer me Xmas Wink? Because dammit I feed it and look after it and I bloody well deserve the cuddles and purrs.

It knows you're its slave. It's still working on your DP.

But if I covered myself in taramasalta DP would leave me and probably take the cat with him Grin

Goingspare good point. I may start acting aloof with it.

Again cats are only your friends till you are enslaved too them and then they treat you with disdain.

DH is essentially Dr Dolittle so was very nervous when we got our cats that I would go unloved. However, one adores me and the other has become DH's stalker so all four of us are happy!

You say this is the 'youngest cat'? I reckon if you there is an 'oldest cat' you should make a play for his/her affections Grin
