Conjunctivitis and a scarey cat! Help!

Took the cat to the vets in July as she had a sore eye and the vet diagnosed conjunctivitis and prescribed eye drops. We tried the eye drops for 3 days and discovered that our very loving cat despises anything being put in her eyes and will now fight like crazy if we go near her eyes.

I am experienced with cats but she is incredibly strong, and has extremely sharp claws and teeth (She is an F2 Bengal cat which are aparently not normally "household pets" but breeding cats, she was a rescue cat and from what I understand her previous owners got rid of her because she was agressive and didn't produce satisfactory littersHmm). Since we have had her I can honestly say she is lovely and never normally agressive except when you go near her eyes.

So I'm wondering if when we take her back to the vets, is there anything they can give her there and then so we don't have to try and get the drops in because we just can't do it?

I'd just like to add that I haven't meant to leave it this long without getting her eyes sorted but ds was born a week after we first took her the vets so things have been a bit hectic.
