kitten with blood in stools

looking for some reassurance. Our 9 wks old kitten has been passing a small amount of bright red blood in her poo. The breader had not wormed/flead her, so i've done both today. Would worms cause this does anyone know? she is otherwise a happy lively kitten

I think it's possible for worms to cause blood in the poo, especially tapeworm. Shame on the breeder for not treating her, how unprofessional. Have you used proper veterinary strength preparations, much more effective than the off the shelf brands.

hi i got the drop on one from pets at home, will re do again today and if no improvement will pop to the vet for some of their worm tabs. thanks
