Boy cat clearly has an upset tummy, and stank, I realised baby wipes wouldn't suffice.

We don't have a bath, I had to shower him Shock

Cat was not happy, I survived with no wounds!

I await my medal.

PS. I think I have decided against showing him Wink

I have never felt the need to bath my cat

Did he cower in th bottom of the shower?

Also, hide your shoes because he's going to crap in them, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow... but he will.

I had to scruff him and suspend him in mid air - he is a big cat, I am a midget.

He did eventually come out with his "I am at the vets I am petrified" bellowing meow.

I decided to skip the shampoo.

He loved being towel dried though Grin

Dh keeps asking of you can bath cats. When I am annoyed with him I usually answer "Yes, would you like me to go and get some shampoo and a towel for you?"

CarGirl · 10/10/2010 14:46

Dooin - why on earth does your dh want the cat bathed??????

This was definitely desperate measures time - thinking solely of my carpets/bad - have 2 cats so couldn't shut him out for the day!

He reckons he smells and is covered in 'cat germs' Hmm He has a bit of thing about smells and germs.

CarGirl · 10/10/2010 14:50

Worst (apart from today) is the smell of oil/petrol when they decide to lounge under the cars in the car park for hours on end!

'cat germs' - good for your immune system!

Want to come and do mine? Free clawing included, hissing a speciality, swiping across the face extra.

Boy cat is bizarrely still friends with me, obviously a bit thick very forgiving.

We've only had to bath one of our cats once, she was having a reaction to flea treatment. She kept climbing out of the bath and trying to run off. When we were finished we opened the door and she legged it to sit soaking wet in the middle of our bed.
