Recommendations for packable waterproof overtrousers with drawstring waist and shorter length

Hi, I'm hoping for recommendations for packable waterproof trousers. I have Peter Storm ones at the moment and in fairness they are about 3 sizes too big, but the elastic on the waist always was poor so they would end up falling down and they are also ridiculously long so you trip over them and they drag on the floor.

I would like ones with a drawstring waist, so I can make sure they fit properly/stay put and not ridiculously long so they are on the floor. I am 5'4 so not normally in petite sizes.

I want the over trousers kind that you pull on over your regular hiking trousers in a sudden downpour, rather than the lined sort you wear as the main garment. Breathability would be good. The sort that stow in their own pack so you can just keep in your rucksack would also be perfect.

I don't mind paying a bit more for something that is decent. My favourite brand for outdoor wear is Rab, but open to any brand that meets my requirements

I have some berghaus ones that are 30 inches long, size small and super comfy, easy to pull on over trousers.

As above, Berghaus do short, medium, long leg in every women's size for over trousers.
Thier Deluge trousers are warmer (due to a lining) and heavier, with an elastic draw cord.
Really packable, go for the Gore Paclite, but they are more money are single layer, and an elastic waist adjuster. The fabric on Paclite wears better/keeps waterproof longer ime.
The zips are great for taking on and off too.
Berghaus are great quality in my experience.
We have 36 pairs at work - most Deluges - as we issue them as uniform.

That's really helpful, thank you both. I shall look to see if I can find some
