Girly girl mountain bike?

Our 6 year old daughter has outgrown her bike and is requesting a new one from Santa. Looking for recommendations please- looking for:
As lightweight as possible (while not breaking the bank, light = costly). She’s an outdoorsy girly girl (big Frozen fan!) and has requested a bike with a basket. We are rural so an off-road/mountain bike style might be better tho. Where do I find a cute-girly-basket-off road-bike? Or do we go mountain bike with added on basket?

Get her the bike she needs, then accessorise? You can easily buy a basket, handlebar streamers, spoke beads, and a bell separately.
I'd look at secondhand for the bike itself, you'll get a better bike for less money.

I would get a good bike - and accessorise with a basket.
The bikes that come with basket / tassels / stuff tend to be poor shape, heavy and known as 'BSO - Bicycle shaped object' rather than a bike.
I had a family member who's daughter 'could not' pedal a bike and learn to ride. I replaced the Argos pink bike with hugely long cranks, long saddle, short reach and odd handlebars with a Isla Bikes and she was riding within 10 minutes....
A local bike club is good for finding second hand bikes, and some shops sell them, anyone who is into cycling too.
