Any one into sailing interested in chatting?

I don’t think there is a thread for this - forgive me if I’m wrong and point in the direction of that thread. I thought it might be nice to have a thread to chat sailing - big or small!

I’m currently bobbing up and down on the Solent enjoying the sunshine making 5 knots of progress on a wonderful old lady. She might not be fast but we love her. The floating equivalent of a classic Morris Minor.

Any one else out on the water?

Sounds lovely, bit big for me though I'm more of your dinghy sailor, or used to be before children.

You get wet in dinghies! I like staying dry. Just hit 7 knots which is far for us. Some of that is tide but still feels fast.

Not sailing but waiting for my daughter to finish her race. Fourth time sitting around at a sailing club this week!
