Wide Fit Walking Shoes

Having just tried on some nice looking but non fitting the north face shoes, can someone recommend?

Currently I have a pair of keen, but they've done their time and the padding around the ankle is going.

We are going to Eryri in July and I'd like to break something in before then (I won't be doing the big walk, but plan on several shorter ones and circulars on and off trail up to about 10 miles).

And yes, I could just buy more keen, but I'd like a change and the colours don't light my fire.

I have La sportiva ultra raptor boots and they are super comfy. They have a nice soft fabric on the heel and don’t come up too high.
my walking trainers are merrel but feel quite heavy once on.

I’ve had Salomon trainers and boots in the past but find them hard on the insole.

Hoka do wide fit trail trainers in nice colours too.

Keen fit me best. I have wide feet and usually end up in either unisex or men's walking shoes or trainers.

Meindl comfort fit. Look on their site and they're usually around cheaper. Great quality and v comfortable.

Inov8 also have some good ones that come in different widths
