Trousers with opening crotch (for weeing)

Just been on a long walk and spent half of it needing to wee.

I've googled and found Gnara Go There trousers, which zip open all the way round, but they only seem to be available in the US.

Does anyone know of anything similar in the UK?

I've tried a SheWee in the past but never feel confident using it.

I really don’t fancy trying to do one of those up again discreetly in the wilderness! Also, you risk the crotch or fastenings rubbing on long walks.

If you wear period pants it’s useful for afterwards soaking up the remainders. I wear them after wild swimming

I go walking sometimes and I find that the best approach for a wee is to take a good 360-degree look around, get close to the ground (on bare earth not grass to avoid splash back), then just do it as quickly as possible. A mid-length coat will give additional privacy.

This reminds me of the conversation I had with dh years ago who was convicted a she-wee was inserted like a catheter, left in situ with a tube running down your trouser leg and just let wee dribble out as you walked along. Like the soil in the Great Escape!

When squatting it’s important not to pee on your pulled down trousers ! Have learnt this the wet way!!

Thanks! I've just ordered a Macabi skirt for wondering around in. I think they look great. I'm unfortunately rather a frequent outdoor wee-er. I find tracksuit trousers, pull on cargos or not too tight leggings are ideal for a quick pull down. Than a squat. I hope I'm not often seen but I take the view that I'm a respectable person and anyone can be caught short. It helps that my DH is a also an outside discreet wee-er so one of us looks out for the other.

I have two Macabi skirts, I love them. Wash and dry in an instant. Look good when worn as a skirt, great pockets that hold loads. I wear leggings underneath if weather is cool. Hitch up into (weird) trousers if I need to. All good .

I can't imagine wearing a skirt in this weather. It's bloody freezing and I'm wearing thermals under walking trousers. Even leggings won't cut it and a skirt would flap around.

The travel john would work if you wore loose trousers with a low gusset so that the bag that's attached can go down one leg.

I've rarely been anywhere that doesn't have some shrubbery to hide behind and you don't need to do a full squat.

FWIW I have seen two women weeing outdoors. One was ahead of me on a track and pulled over behind a tree but I could still see her. She was wearing a skirt.
The other was on a moor and just did it on the footpath . I was too far away to see anything in detail but she clearly was desperate.

My mum just wears jackets that cover her bum so she can pull her trousers down just enough to use a shewee

Yes I definitely find my desire for privacy decreases as my need to pee increases. To be honest I don't care that much but will always try and find a tree, bush or rock. But I have gone in full view of everyone when the only other option was soggy trouser.

I can't imagine opening trousers that make things more easy than pulling them down and squatting. What about knickers?

I was at a running event this weekend. Long queues for the portaloos. I noticed several women nipping through a gap in a hedge and thought great idea. When I got through there was a line of women all squatting with their shorts round their ankles.

There seemed to be an unspoken ladies and gents arrangement. The men were all by a hedge on the opposite side of the field.

There used to be s company called Wild Roses that did this. Not sure if they still exist. I just find a bush to hide behind!

If I wore a skirt, I'd then have to also wear chub rub shorts which would defeat the object of wearing a skirt.
I'm a life time squatter and have got it down to a fine art.
