Nice trousers for walking, any recommendations?

I thought I’d have more luck here than S&B. Suitable for walking, possibly with some stretch, three quarter length ie below the knee.

If you can recommend something specific that’s good, but I’d also love any brands or online links to point me in the right direction.

You could try Açai I often see ads for them buy I have heard they may not last very long, but no personal experience. I often use running leggings Nike, sweaty Betty

I got some great ones from Montane with stretch.

Depends on your budget and the time of year really. Hi Gear are are really good at the lower end. Fjalraven at the top.

Craghoppers have good stretch and dry quickly

Mine are craghoppers but also had mountain warehouse brand in the past, all have been fine for non technical walking/hiking

I have a few pairs of Craghoppers as I like the price. They are comfortable and perform well but the quality can be questionable sometimes with stitching and buttons coming away. Not a big issue if you are handy with a needle and thread but disappointing. The other brand I like, and now my preference over Craghopper, is AlpKit. Slightly more expensive but better on all fronts IMHO. Only available from them direct but their online service is excellent.

I got some Ysento ones from Amazon after a recommendation on here. Lightweight material with plenty of stretch and true to size.

I like Rohan. They're not a super stylish brand, but I've found it to be excellent quality.

I'm a long standing fan of Craghopper Kiwi Pros, which are completely functional, but I have recently invested in some Açai "Stroll" trousers, which are slightly more stylish, less flappy and so far very good (bear in mind that "so far" has been dry, warm and sunny).

DD and I are wearing Craghoppers at the moment. They are inexpensive and work well for hiking/camping. We're not doing anything technical/high altitude, so we just need something comfy, quick to dry and with pockets.
