Hi everyone. I live in Whitby and my daughter lives in Leeds with her two young children. Sometimes we like to meet up for a couple of hours at the weekend and would like to find somewhere outdoors (for a picnic and a run-around), free, with parking and in range of a reasonable travel distance for both parties.
This is a really sad confession - we often meet for lunch in the M and S cafe at Vanguard outside York - rather lacking in soul, I know.
Can any of you suggest somewhere, please?
