Where can I buy hiking clothing in a size 6?

For a reasonable price? The outdoors stores seem to only go down to an 8.

I've got waterproof trousers in a kids' 13 years, which are about a women's 8 (just cheaper), but I really need a 6 in hiking trousers and base-layer bottoms. I'm an 8 on top so that's fine. A kids' 11-12 is too short, it might do for the base-layer, but not for trousers (I'm 5 ft 5). If you're a size 6 where do you buy your gear?

Have you tried Decathlon?

For a bigger price Acai Active wear trousers are very nice looking.

No, looking at Decathlon now, thanks!

Thanks, I've bought some lovely warn winter hiking trousers from Decathlon. The sizing is off though, they are a 26 waist (I'm a 24), EU 34 and they are calling them a UK 4. They are a bit big but have a belt at least!

Ooh great, hope they work out well. I have some great warm winter running leggings from there.

I'd second decathlon, the sizes come up small not so much short but narrow. Their kid stuff isn't really childish either.

Yes, the kids' stuff looks good too. Looking for my teen DS as well, he is outgrowing an age 11-12 in length but doesn't need a bigger waist size, slimmer brands fit him much better.
