Child bike seats help

I'm going to be buying a bike real soon. I've had a Brompton for years but I'm looking to start using it with my DD soonish so would need something that I can attach a child seat to

My question is more about how easy or not are they to fit?

My husband wants to also ferry her around on his bike but I don't really want to buy a seat for each bike when we only have one child.

Are they straight forward to pop in and out? If not would you recommend we fit it to one bike and leave it at that?

He's way more confident a cyclist so he'd be the one with the seat permanently fixed if that's what needs to happen but I'm just a little bit sad if that's the case. I have a day with her on my own and would like to go to the shops on my bike with her so I'm just wondering how make it work

Any suggestions/ideas?

How do you make it work if you have one seat and two adult bikes?

we have the wee ride kangaroo seat and much prefer it to the ones we had previously (that attached to the back of the bike). it doesn't get in the way of peddling and it means you can see your dc much easier and can talk to them/point out things. You could switch it between bikes I think, although it would take a little manoeuvring, but you could always keep it strapped to your bike until you were going out cycling with your husband if you are going to be with your dc all day. all the best x
