Normally I take a sandwich, a banana and either an apple or satsuma, plus a bag of mixed nuts and dried fruit. The idea being that we can snack on the fruit as we go along and only have to sit down for 5 minutes to eat the sandwich.
We’re going on an 8 hour hike tomorrow (sister is having DC) and I’ve offered to organise packed lunch. DPs friend is coming and he doesn’t eat fruit (any fruit), any ideas on what energising snacks I can put in for him, that doesn’t resemble a fruit?
