Suggestions for a big hillwalking day

So every year an friend and I get together for a days hill walking. As it’s usually a rare day out together and we are trying to pretend we are still 20 we like to go for a ‘big day out’. Last two years has been the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the Langdale round. Any suggestions for this years trip? Around 20miles or so and plenty of peaks and climbing. Could be up for a two day trip as long as it involves a pub and an actual bed to sleep in!
I think the Welsh 3000 is beyond us and I don’t really like the concept of the National Three Peaks.
Based in Yorkshire so Pennines, Lakes or Snowdonia is ideal.

What about the Ennerdale Horseshoe? it's a (very) big day out with lots of climbing. You can speed some of it up if you have a bike and can cycle the path by Ennerdale Water to the start. It's great though!

You don’t have to do the Welsh 3000s. There loads of lovely ridge lines. The glyders? Snowdon horse shoe with moel eilio? Siabod and the moelwyns to Cnicht?

Snowdon Horseshoe

I also came on to say Ennerdale Horseshoe - one of the hardest days on the hills I've had. However you need a lot of daylight so better do it soon.

How about The Ercall followed by The Wrekin it all looks over the best countryside in Britain. Plus you climb and fall about 4000ft in about 6 hours/15miles.

Ercall and the wrekin is lovely. The 3 Breidden hills are fab too (and not very busy!).

Or the Howgills- start in Sedbergh on Winder and walk over to Cautley Spout, the Calf and Arant Haw- absolutely stunning walk and lovely pubs at Sedbergh too
