Crawling around outside?

First time post, don't really know where to post this thread and found lots of things for crawling outside when cold & wet but not for when warm and sunny?!

My lg is nearly 16 months and although cruising since 12/13 months is not walking yet. Personally I'm not concerned yet, she will do it in her own time and HV says there doesn't seem to be a medical reason.

Anyway, my question is, should I let her crawl round our back garden? There's no grass and we rent so can't start digging up the Landlord's garden which is a mix of slabs and concrete.

Obviously she's be supervised so I'm not worried about her trying to eat things or get dirty etc - I don't mind clothes getting scuffed, they can be replaced!

I think I'm just being an overprotective first time Mum but what about her grazing her hands...or knees etc if her clothing rips?

We go to the park and to play groups and she crawls around on the grass at her grandparents.

We do have a mat that we put down outdoors but it's not very big and I imagine she'd just venture off anyway!

I have a puddle suit but I can't see that going down well if it's 17 degrees plus outside?

I just don't know where to start and any help would be appreciated? Thanks in advance xx

It's fine.

Maybe sweep up first to get rid of any loose gravel or anything that could hurt. I'd probably put her in jeans or cords because they're quite hard wearing, although tbh she'd probably be fine with bare legs, babies are surprisingly tough!

I will say though, my reluctant walker only started walking aged 16 months when he wanted to explore the playground and it wasn't safe to crawl, so it was walk or be held. He walked. Grin. Maybe get her a walker and let her use that to explore the garden if you're worried it isn't safe to crawl.
