Project Wild Thing

I may be preaching to the converted here but has anyone else seen the film 'Project Wild Thing' yet? I was lucky enough to be invited to a showing and it was brilliant. The film maker David Bond basically had so much trouble getting his kids off the computer and away from the telly, that he decided to try and find out why a lot of kids are so disinterested in nature. The resulting quest is really interesting and the whole project is really innovative.

This is the 'blurb' - Film maker David Bond is a worried man. His kids' waking hours are dominated by a cacophony of marketing, and a screen dependence threatening to turn them into glassy-eyed zombies. Like city kids everywhere, they spend way too much time indoors - not like it was back in his day.

He decides it's time to get back to nature – literally.

If you want to get 'back to nature' this is for you - have a look at projectwildthing.com/about

I really wanted to see that but was super ill when it was showing near us. I've put the DVD on my amazon wish list though, so fingers crossed I might get it.
