I'm a Norf Londoner who's very curious about these 2 Sarf London destinations...never been and wanted to plan a day out with DD (5) t encompass both, plus possible stroll along river.
Maybe even tomorrow, if weather is really as good as they're claiming it will be :-)
Who's been to either, how good are the playground and the cafe' at BS Gdns and what's the farm like?
Thanks.

Bonnington Square Garden is really just a small community garden, nice but not a destination I don't think. You could go to nearby Vauxhall Park for play equipment. The cafe is nice - gets quite busy at times so worth booking if going at a busy time. You can also sit outside the little Italian deli and have a nice coffee.

Thanks BedHanger I take your point! Was going to combine short visit to BS Gdns with longer visit to Vauxhall City Farm, but just read that the latter is closed tomorrow argh. Another time! The Italian deli sounds good Smile

Didn't want you to be disappointed! I used to live there and it is lovely. Great sense of community.

Thanks BH I shall go another time when both are open and the sun is shining again, I think! They both sound lovely.
