I'm planning on applying for a license to trap Signal Crayfish in my local waterways. Anybody else done this, any tips?

We used visit friends in Wiltshire area & they just used to hang bits of bait on a line and when they took it pulled up slowly & put a net under. They stream ran through their garden. Feisty things mind! But very tasty! The waterways people hate them as they are not native & very distructive, happy fishing! X

My dad did it till recently. He got (well, he told me to, and I ordered them) the traps on ebay. The actual problem was getting far more of them than they could ever eat !
