We often take lunch out with us on trips, and end up carrying it a long way from the car. At the moment we have a standard sort of cool-bag thing, but it's awkward to carry. Ideally looking for a sort of cool-rucksack, if such a thing exists.

We tend to take the sort of food that's OK at ambient temps for long enough, but have a coolbag designed for 6 drinks cans into which we can stuff lunch for 3 and which itself goes into a rucksack.

I've got a cool-rucksack that I think came from Wilko's, but some years ago. TBH normally it's not hot enough to bother with using it, but if the weather's really hot I put a couple of those frozen ice packs into the bottom and it keeps the contents cool.

I bought my parents a two man version of this a few years ago and it's still going strong. They go out walking quite a lot and always take it with them so I assume it does the job!

Thanks all, I'll keep my eyes peeled. Not sure we need one with cutlery and plates, that's a bit civilised!
