mumatron · 23/03/2012 15:30

I'm a bit disappointed it isn't called 'outdoorsy shite' though.

TerrierMalpropre · 23/03/2012 15:40

Yay! Going to think of something outdoorsy to do now. Marking my place.

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2012 15:44

What do we need to join? I have wellies, thermal socks and a big golfing umbrella. Any good?

Brambleschooks · 23/03/2012 16:03

Puts up a tarp and chills.

Slubberdegullion · 23/03/2012 16:04

Slaymill · 23/03/2012 16:06

I have a big stick and a dog

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2012 16:06

But but but. Won't this overlap with Camping at some point? Or is it more rustic?

QuintessentialShadows · 23/03/2012 16:07

Nice. Smile

It's a bit of a venn diagram sparking, but yeah more rustic and earthy. Muddy boots and ruddy faces that sort of lark.

QuintessentialShadows · 23/03/2012 16:08

Ha, camping, SNORT!

You mean, carpets and tents and buckets, on a campsite?

What has THAT got to do with the outdoors

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2012 16:09

Roughing it then? Grin Not tents with escalators and stuff. Grin

UnChartered · 23/03/2012 16:10

Slaymill · 23/03/2012 16:12

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2012 16:14

I love the sound of all this. The sun is shining and we are talking about doing outdoor stuff. It's like coming out of hibernation and blinking into the light. Clocks go forward Sunday too. Grin

UnChartered · 23/03/2012 16:17

is anyone planning any expeditions yet?

we're off to the Peak District on sunday for a few days. can't wait, need to de-stress and kick some stones about

QuintessentialShadows · 23/03/2012 16:22

We were planning a three night cross country skiing trip going 30 km (10 km a day), with the kids over Easter, sleeping in open basic lodges in the mountains en route, but not sure now, with my ear infection..

like this Cant believe we are going to have to give it a miss. Sad
