Anallergenic dog food

My staffie has diagnosed IBD and has been on the Royal Canin Anallergenic dog food prescribed since being a puppy. He has a stench that comes back after week after a bath. Any tips on food/routine that helps?

Well I don't know about anallergenic foods, but my Frenchie used to have an odd smell which went away when I switched her onto Butternut box fresh meals rather than the dried food we were told she ate.

Op, I posted on your other thread , but I was thinking about your query.

My lab had IBD, and anal gland problems, we added Protexin Fibre to his diet, which cleared up the gland issue, pretty much for life. Could the smell be coming from his glands?

My current female also has an iffy tummy, and Fortiflora probiotic works for her. She also has had a lot of different hypoallergenic foods, but I am actually trialling Butternut Box for her as she is such a fussy madam.
