Labrador has a cough and worried.

My 10.5 year old Labrador has had a cough for the last 24 hours, overnight he wasn’t good coughing every hour or so but during the day he is not coughing as much, as soon as the vet’s is open I will be getting husband to ring, but any ideas?

Autistic or not autistic - any dog owner would be worried

If you are using plug in room scent thingys, stop. They are not good for animals & can cause coughing in dogs.
Meanwhile, get your dog to the vet.

Don't worry, could just be kennel cough,the vet will sort him.

Kennel cough is doing the rounds again at the moment. It’s particularly bad in the SE and Midlands

Does he chew sticks? Hopefully a scratch and will resolve quickly. You are doing the right thing getting him checked.

Try and get a video if you can. May help the vet.
