new L4 leptospirosis vaccine UK

Hey so my 3 year old dog had her first shot of the new L4 vaccine 4 weeks ago and was supposed to have her second shot today but both me and my partner are badly ill so shes been rescheduled for thursday, is having the 2nd dose of the new vaccine 2 days late ok or should i be concerned or take a different route or anything, any help or advice will be greatly appreciated :))))

Check with your vet. 2 days shouldn't be a issue though. If it goes longer they will just restart the course

Hi yeah my vet said something about it being 2 days late i cant remeber because i was out of it when i called but didnt recommend starting a new, im just scared it wont work being 2 days late and then it wont work at all the rest of her life if you get me haha, i appreciate it and will ask again when we go in on thursday, tysm

The licence when the vaccine was launched nearly 10 years ago was 4 weeks plus or minus 3 days for the 2nd vaccine.

I asked the make as i work at a vets , we usually say no later than 4 weeks from the date of the 1st vacc.
When you go to the appointment the vet can check the manufacturers data sheet for the vaccine and tell you for certain .

I would strongly suspect it is Nobivac or canigen where the L2 has been discontinued.
